The Psalms for millennia have formed part of the Judeo-Christian personal and liturgical experience of prayer. Starting off with a selection of Psalms, this retreat will explore the poetic form of the Psalms, and their imagery that touch the emotions and engage the mind in longing and waiting for the Word made flesh. With the Psalmist we express our deepest yearning for the Word that gives life, and dispels the darkness and gloom of human situation. Join us on Sundays of advent (should be Advent) as we “Wait on the Word” who is Life – a Word that we will hear and see and touch as we engage with Scripture.
