Praying with Saint Paul

2nd October 2021
2:45pm-4:25pm via Zoom

“Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

(1 Thessalonians 5:17–18)

Join us in this presentation to learn about St Paul and his teachings on the importance of a prayer life.

Saint Paul is recognised as the one apostle that had the greatest influence on Christianity. In his own words, “I worked harder than all of the apostles, though it was not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (1 Cor. 15:10)

Since prayer is at the heart of the Christian life, what did Saint Paul teach about prayer? What can we learn from this great lover of Christ about intimacy with God in prayer?

Through exploring some of Paul’s Epistles, this presentation will expose us to what Paul taught in his “school of prayer” and highlight for us practices for a more dynamic and more authentic prayer life.
